Statutes¶
Browse and search the library of regulatory statutes, laws, and guidance documents linked to your monitored sources.
Overview¶
The Statutes page gives you access to Carver's reference library of primary legal documents — acts, regulations, bills, and guidance — organized by jurisdiction and document type. You can search by text, filter by jurisdiction or legal level, and drill into a statute to see which recent feed entries reference it.
Searching Statutes¶
Use the search bar at the top to find statutes by name or content keyword. Results update as you type.
Filtering¶
Apply one or more filters to narrow the results:

| Jurisdiction | Country or region codes — from AD (Andorra) and AE (UAE) through global multi-national bodies. Type to search the list. |
| Legal Level | Primary law, subordinate law, advisory/non-binding, bill, guidance, etc. |

| Language | Language of the source document |
| Year | Year the document was published or enacted |
Statute Cards¶
Each statute appears as a card showing:
- Title — the official name of the statute
- Jurisdiction code — the country or region (e.g., US, EU, GB)
- Document type tag — regulation, bill, guidance, plan, etc.
- Legal level
- Variant count — number of translated or amended versions available
Statute Detail¶
Click a statute to open its detail page:
The detail page shows:
- Full title and metadata (jurisdiction, legal level, type, year)
- Linked feed entries — a chronological list of regulatory articles and notices that reference this statute, pulled from your monitored sources
This makes it easy to track the regulatory history around a specific law — for example, seeing every article citing the EU AI Act over the past 12 months, sorted by date.
Common Use Cases¶
Track implementation of a specific law — Search for "EU AI Act", open the statute, and see every regulatory notice referencing it from agencies across the EU.
Find all regulations in a jurisdiction — Filter by Jurisdiction (e.g., "US") and Legal Level (e.g., "primary law") to see which statutes Carver has indexed for that region.
Research a regulatory domain — Filter by Document Type "guidance" and a keyword search for "AML" to find all guidance documents related to anti-money laundering.
