Quick Start¶
Get up and running with Carver RegWatch in a few minutes.
1. Follow Your Sources¶
Navigate to Sources in the left sidebar. You'll see Carver's full catalog of 1,000+ regulatory institutions, organized by category (Finance, Data protection and cybersecurity, Medical Devices, etc.).
Use the category filters or search bar to find the regulatory bodies relevant to your domain, then click to follow them. These become your tracked sources — the institutions whose changes appear in your Signals feed and Dashboard.
2. Set Your Context¶
Go to Context and fill in your Business Profile and Regulatory Focus Areas. Describe your organization, the markets you operate in, and the regulatory risk domains you care about.
This is what Carver uses to calculate relevance scores (0–10) for every regulatory signal. The more specific your context, the more accurate the prioritization.
3. Check Your Dashboard¶
Return to the Dashboard. The stats bar at the top shows how many sources you're tracking and how many new signals have appeared today. Below it, the Notable Changes feed lists the most relevant recent regulatory updates from your tracked sources.
Click any item to open the detail panel — you'll see an AI-generated summary, impact assessment, affected industries, and links to cross-references from news and secondary sources.
4. Explore Signals¶
The Signals page shows the full unfiltered list of changes from your tracked sources. Sort by Relevance (AI) to see the highest-priority items first, or switch to Date to see what arrived most recently. Use Export CSV to pull the list into a spreadsheet.
5. Read a Risk Intelligence Report¶
Go to Risk Intelligence Reports. Carver generates periodic PDF outlook reports for regulatory domains like Cybersecurity, AI, Healthcare, and Finance. Select a category and open a report — you'll find a structured analysis of what changed, which jurisdictions are moving, and what actions to take.
